Default Sydney Domainer Meetup
Hi Guys,

Want to put something together in Sydney where we can all get together like the Melbourne one in February (only better )

Prepared to put some limited resources into making it a fun evening, so wondering if we can have some suggestions to make it a good turnout & networking event. What would you think of
  1. Free beer (obvious I guess!)
  2. 12 Mth Nett Magazine subscription to all attendees
  3. 10,000 Netfleet Credits to all attendees
  4. An expert speaker/seminar (if so, who?)
  5. Live informal mini domain auction
  6. Other ideas???

Of course the main value from these events lies in just chatting with other likeminded people - networking. However this is dependent on a good turnout so keen to find what would be a drawcard for you?

Free Beer - Thats all i need, lmao.
12mth nett magazine - already receive this from buying domains from hostess.

Can offer to help out with a venue if needed; plenty of contacts in the bar industry in syd.

Great idea. I'm more likely to attend if the event runs after 5pm.

Thanks for the responses guys - the poll shows some good interest esp from interstate which is great.

OK let's lock in:

1) the beer,
2) the Nett subscription (most people won't have one I don't think)
3) weekday evening event

I'll also investigate a guest speaker of some sort.

Any other suggestions? Netfleet credits or auction not of interest?
