IMPORTANT UPDATE: We experience a connectivity issue during last week's auction, specifically the Extended Period. Work has been performed over the past few days to correct the problem that caused the service issue, however it did highlight that a seller can be significantly disadvantaged should the auction system not perform correctly. The benefit of selling our own Surplus Inventory means that we were able to learn a valuable lesson to address such circumstances in the future.

We are amending our Terms & Conditions to address service difficulties. Effectively immediately, if a service disruptions is experienced during the auction we reserve the right to temporarily suspend the auction and resume bidding at a later time. All participants will be emailed and new close times will be published to give everybody enough time to get ready.

Existing Drop Members automatically gain access to our Secondary Market auctions. If you want to participate and don’t have DROP membership you can purchase Secondary Market Auction Membership for a onetime fee of $9.95 (NB this does not give you access to the expired domain auction).

Some additional information and housekeeping…
• No hidden bids - The current winning bid will be openly displayed during the auction
• Auctions that receive bids in the final 30-seconds will be extended a further 5 minutes, until extended bidding closes at 12.00 AEST.
• Anyone can bid in an extended auction period.
• Bid amounts exclude GST and the Transfer (Change of Registrant) fee.
• It is a condition of participation that “Change of Registrant” must be via Drop.com.au at a discounted cost of $49.95
