They could be so big that one tile is used for the entire roof.

CSIRO developed this (same technology as they used for plastic money) - metallic threads in a polymer film laid onto the tiles - makes the whole roof a solar collector - clever eh? Another one is a spray on film that does a similar thing -compare optic fibre to copper cable, similar technological capacity for exceptionally thin metallic threads to capture solar energy - won't be seen on the roof - metallic paint for cars, been around for eleventeen eons - use a metallic type of paint with miniscule metallic "pixels" will turn your colorbond roof into one humungous solar receptor. The technology is there, the guy from the CSIRO on the inventors the other night had a nice smirk on his face when asked if the CSIRO would get royalties from these developments

By the way - I sold SolarTiles.com.au (unfortunately, before I saw that episode of the inventors !!!!) - So needless to say I am holding onto my other Solar names a bit longer.

cheers,
Mike
p.s. 3D Solar will be the next big thing ......... anyone wanna buy 3DSolarHotWater.com.au ?

p.s. I need some help - Google Docs, email us / contact us templates - used one but on the response back to the submitter where you can put a custom message (thanks for joining) it has two links on the bottom that the submitter sees - "create new form" and "back to form templates" - anybody know how to get rid of that content ??

cheers,
Mike

just a year and a half on and i wonder if anyone is still tracking this thread?

solar has become a HUGE market online for referals, so i hope you registered all those domain names ( i'm not in the market for that so you're cool )

solarquotes.com.au is making a MOTZA i have been told

i'm using the same system for a different business type so if anyone wants to have that knowledge, and pay me to develop it then PM me.

its about $3k to setup but then it runs whilst you are asleep, this doesn't include your effort on getting the people to do the work across australia or your SEO but the business model works on adwords not organic.
