But spacey, what makes you say adult, it's a simple number word domain?

I asked the question so I probably should have put my thoughts down.

From a domain development perspective I'd agree $25 but I believe as a brandable it's worth a fair bit. If I were starting up a new marketing company, t-shirt business, graphic design group, magazine, etc then I'd actually pay a packet for it. The free marketing, instant brand recognition and affinity would be worth quite a bit.

I think it's one of those domains that if you can identify the right buyer, at the right time then maybe $10K. If you park it or let it sit on domain sales sites then $0.

I get what you're saying, but I think this kind of thought process is unrealistic. Unlike generic domains with high search volume, the vast majority of brandables have no inherent value.

Sure, to the right buyer at the right time this name could be worth a packet, but so could almost any other random domain out there. And of course there's absolutely no guarantee that there ever will be a 'right buyer' - especially in a market as small as ours. You could renew this domain for the next 20 years without getting a single bite.

The problem with brandables in general is just this - a good sale relies on the 'right buyer' just appearing on the scene. Sure it happens on occasion, but what are the odds?

It's definitely a difficult one as it's more an opportunity to create a brand than a straight domain. I also own a few others which I reg'd as brands for different projects. Banshee.com.au is another. As a domain $0 but as a trademark, etc then I'd pay quite a bit.
