It won't affect most people as they don't purchase goods valued over $1000. How many people do you know that order "full marble-top kitchens from South-East Asia and China".

I know people who buy Full Marble bench tops for kitchens from Italy not from China lol..But pretty sure they get taxed hard lol...

But yeah whats a bet Kogan Technologies points fun at this and makes all their stock $999 or something crazy like that to get press.

Kogan are an Australian based business, so they have to charge GST regardless.
