I thought i would put this one up for appraisal , keep in mind the net is becoming more video based , the other channel names i looked for were
newschannel.com.au , businesschannel.com.au travelchannel.com.au , but they were all gone , i am starting to hear the word 'channel' used more regulary ....... thoughts ? thanks in advance !!!!!

If it gets some traffic it might be worth $100, if it gets no traffic its probably worth reg fee or less.

When names like sexchannels.com.au and pornchannel.com.au are still available for reg fee it greatly devalues your name, the name is not unique and its too easy to buy something of equal value for reg fee.

The level of available .au names is still so high, unless you are registering for traffic/monetisation it will be very difficult to recoup your investment via resale for keyword based names without traffic and with comparable names still available. The other alternative would be to build a portfolio of 100+ carefully selected and registered adult names if the group as a whole had traffic you could potentially sell it as an adult traffic portfolio, that would have value..

thanks , wade , this name not purchased for quick resale , so in the future maybe development ?? yes i did notice pornchannel was there .... but i decided sex was the stronger word , even xxx was available , happy to wait for a while , cheers !!
