For example lets say www.AAAXXX.com.au ranks in the first page of Google when searched for AAA XXX.

If the domain name is instead www.XXXAAA.com.au are the chances of it ranking on the first page of google still high when searched for the same terms AAA XXX?

So you're asking if www.CardsCredit.com.au would rank as well as as www.CreditCards.com.au? Not a chance.

It still helps having the keywords in reverse order in the domain, but imo nowhere near as much.
