Andrew, good luck on selling lots, but I don't imagine they'll all sell! What happens to the domains that don't sell? Will you also be rolling out more of your inventory on a regular basis, and will members of Drop be allowed to offer their own domains for auction? Well done though.

Good questions. I'll do my best to answer them.

We'll wait for the results of the auction and make a decision on the domains that don't sell after the event. At this point it's unlikely that they will be listed in another Secondary Market Auction.

Over the next few weeks we plan to hold a weekly Secondary Market Auction with a totally new group of domains each week.

Naturally we are exploring opportunities for our customers to list their domains on both FabulousDomains.com.au and Drop.com.au. Bear with us while we do the prototyping with our own portfolio. We want to make sure we get it right before we start listing third party domains.

All times are AEST time zone. You need to adjust for AEDT time zone if you are in NSW, VIC, or TAS (Day Light Savings)

Thanks to all that participated in our first secondary market auction. As a prototype for this kind of service we are very pleased with the results - We sold 48 domains and had only one hiccup; that we had to withdraw a domain from our auction because it was not correctly cleared for auction. To help promote full disclosure, the domain lot now has a WITHDRAWN status on our list and we are reviewing internal process so that this error does not occur again.

We’ll be announcing another secondary market auction shortly with all new inventory.
