Default Restaurants.com & generic auction today $5 million usd reserve

There is some huge names going to auction today. Reserve is $5 million usd. Will be interesting

Normally we see a great flow on in media reports and values of .com.au's rise after these events

I like these domains too: Profile.com & Vehicles.com ...But crazy to see so many good domains up for sale at once...

17% clearance rate, just awful. In times gone by it used to be 60%-70%. I don't see how how auctions like this can be viable, where the vast majority of names are so badly overpriced.

yes terrible sales rates.. I dont like the way they do their auctions at all. They seem to have some really sh*& names sometimes.

restaurants.com was an awesome name a starting reserve of $5 million was just stupid but unless they wanted just free advertising.

Lots of bidders would have paid over $1 - 2 - 3 million for it..

Why pay 5mil for restaurants.com when you can have 3DRestaurants.com for half that ........ well nearly half.
