Hi Guys,

According to our own scripts and database we did not expect any domains to be purged from the registry today. Last night we received a Drop list from AusRegistry, so just to be sure we decided to post this “official” registry drop list (list is included below).

As per our normal terms, any domains that are not purged from the registry are re-listed and the auction lot is opened again for further bids. We apologize in advance if this causes any inconvenience, but under the circumstances presented today we do not want to question the validity of the official registry drop list and run the risk of missing some great names.

Today’s highlight (or tomorrow’s) is NakedDSL.com.au with 6,600 AU searches in March and an estimated average CPC of $3.63

Hi George,

I noticed that the whois records have just been updated to show that the domains can be purged.

So are you expecting them to drop today or it could still be tomorrow?

They are all dropping tomorrow not today.

We just received the following email from AusRegistry:

Please be advised that no domains will be dropping from the Registry today.

Apologies for any confusion but the drop list was always a best approximation.

Once we deploy the updated DNRS which includes the new expiry-purge process, these anomalies will no longer occur.

The updated DNRS refers to the registry change scheduled for April 18:
