Default Not for sale, simple curiosity...

Hey everyone,

My first post!

I have huge plans for the domains below, but have limited experience monetizing 'exact keyword match' top level domains - specifically domains without an established site with traffic.

I own over 200 domains, some of which are hilarious and completely inappropriate for this forum, but I was wondering if anyone can offer estimates for these specific domains:
  • SmallBusinessForum.com.au
    SmallBusinessAdvertising.com.au
    SmallBusinessAds.com.au
    AdvertisingSmallBusiness.com.au
    BusinessMarketingSmall.com.au
    AdvertisingAgencyOnline.com.au
    BusinessNew.com.au

Thanks everyone!

Cheers,

Tim.

I'm not an expert so this is just my opinion based on recent sales and trends.

I personally dont think the whole list is that valuable.
If I had to pick I would say the top two are probably worth a few hundred more than registration price.

Thanks Denis,

I registered mainly for some SEM pages, but was curious considering 'business new' had 450,000 search volume per month in AUS.

I'll be setting up information marketing stuff on the domains so its neither here nor there - I was more curious as to the value of two word, keyword match results in .com.au

-Cheers!

Hey mate!

I could be wrong here.

But for example if you go here...https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and type "business new" you get close to 800,000+ search volume under the "broad" criteria. However in this occasion what you need to search under is the "Exact" criteria I belive. In which case you only have about 2000 Exact searches.

The reason you initially had such a high volume is because those two words could have been derived as part of a sentence. I.e: ........ ....... ........ ........ Business, new .... ....... ......... and etc.

Im sure someone more experianced on the forum will be able to explain better than I did.

For the most part I ignore broad and focus more on exact or phrase searches. Realistically you'd want good numbers in all 3

"business new" for local search volume i get:

broad - 33,100
phrase - 1,300
exact - 170

SmallBusinessAdministration.com.au

Using the Google keyword tool in the thread, [small business administration] shows 40,500 exact searches per month...

Registered.

Thats global monthly search volume, for .com.au it's important to look at the local volume? (which is 210)

Also I use this link:
https://adwords.google.com.au/select...rdToolExternal with the .au it gives different local search volume than the link above
