Registering these domain names is fairly risky business.... i feel... and might be seen a typical case of cybersquating... in which case they'll take the domain away from you. A name of the individual is not generic... so it would be very hard to defend it.
There is also a lot of emotions around him in particular... so it is quite risky |

This has been tested before in US and the domain owners have won - ie a fan site has been found to be a legitimate way to use the domain. So developed carefully I think you'd have a minimal risk of losing it.
However, you've got to ask yourself is it worth the effort to develop such a site from a commercial point of view. And, as Ross said he does inspire some string emotions in Aus and regardless of the legitimacy of such a site, people might not agree with it...
