Default How Long To Develop

I was just wondering does anyone know AUDA's policy on how long we have to develop a domain after we have bought it?

And are there lots of cases of AUDA seizing domains that haven't been utilised?

How long to develop? Depends on your objective really.

It takes seconds to park, days for a a good minisite/MFA/affiliate, weeks for a great minisite, and years for business ideas (if only due to capital req.). That's excluding time taken to SEO + rank

I have ideas for each of my domain, but coding and content and capital takes time.

There's a folder on my pc I created 23 June 2009. It has ~1+GB of documents, downloads I've collated since then with possible content articles, coding tutorials, and themes + plugins.

I don't think there is a policy, because a few blue-chip corporations owning generic domains have zilch on their domains.

I don't think they would just go around looking for names to take off people, the policies you are referring to are complaint driven..

It means I don't think they would take a name off your purely because it hasn't been developed for X amount of time.

Someone would have to complain about your 'breach' of policy in order for auDA to look into it. Having said that, the safest thing to do would be to put something up.

Basically auda doesn't spend all day searching for infringements, they basically act on complaints they receive on a case by case basis.

What happens if I have 100 domains and I'm putting up sites at a rate of 1 a week. That would mean that it take 2 years to get sites up on all of the domains.

What should I do, just leave the domains unused and unparked, or through up some "under construction" style page?

Can anyone offer any constructive feedback on the above situation...?
