This domain name has an offer on it of $3.5k at NFleet, and is owned by Aussie john symond and diverts to his aussie website, what i cant understand is why he and his 33% shareholder Comm bank would sell it/ need to sell it and give a competitor this domain name, doesnt make sense to me ?

I think it was sold privately and the previous owner has yet to remove the listing from Netfleet.
