What would be a reasonable offer amount domainer to domainer?

it would depend on the letter quality , much debate about .net at the moment

if in aussie dollars i am suggesting $400-$500 .... they may want more ??

This lll happens to have sentimental value, so to me the letter quality is astronomical. US$500 seems to be a reasonable offer.

i own a few LLL.net's, raning from price of around US$800-$100, this was before the recession hit, and when the Aussie dollar was very high. Sometimes you just have to pay more than it is worth for sentimental value. Its not a completely unreasonable price but it is expensive considering the downturn in the market. Though he might be in no rush to sell.
