Default Link Factor In Drop Auctions

I was just interested to know how much inbound links matters in your willingness to buy a domain in a drop expiry auction?

Doesn't matter that much to me. Links are easy enough to generate.

Yeah me neither, but it seems that quite often the domains that are expiring with a link profile tend to get substantially higher bids than those without.

Even the email that Drop sends out to members prior to an auction seems to rank domains with inbound links substantially higher. So it just got me thinking and I was wondering what people on these forums thought.
