Default International Partnership

Just after a few tips if anyone has any.

I sell a small but functional plugin for a CMS that I built some time ago.

I've just recently been made an offer that I am interested in taking up from a client/user of the plugin.

Basically he wants to buy in to the product and assist with future development etc etc.

We have discussed things like future ideas and ways we can take it to the next level. It is very niche but a huge niche market none the less.

Anyway, I want to know if anyone has any tips to protect myself in regards to teaming with someone international that I've really not had much to do with apart from the odd email and skype conversation.

We are both happy with the terms we discussed, just want to protect my investment as such and not get ripped off and left high and dry so to speak.

Thanks.

sounds alittle risky to me.
Why do you need a partner?
Is there a contract in place? is the CMS trademarked?
Have you sort legal advice?

keep us updated.

Cheers
