Does anyone use the Google Keyword Tool for research before buying domains?
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal Normally i do little research before buying a domain name; though today i was going through keywords in Google and found a few matching domains available. I bought two domains today with the following stats from Google Keywords. 1. ?????.com.au: Exact Keyword Match: 22200 local searches, 368000 global searches in March Plural Version Keyword: 74000 local searches, 1220000 global searches in March 2. ?????.com.au Exact Keyword Match: 480 local searches, 1,900 global searches in March Plural Version Match: 40,500 searches, 74,000 global searches in March Good Buys? |

I use the .au version thou:

Well... it depends of the keywords...
I mean... if the keyword is "when the world is going to end" .... 22000 searches can be great, but a mit difficult to monetize * Well, may be you can make a video... or sell survivor kit... if the keyword is: cheap flip hd camera ..... 22000 searches = $$$$$ |
