Smile Gday all from Melbourne, Australia

Hi everyone from sunny/cold/rainy/windy/scorching|unpredictable Melbourne ,

22 year old marketing student and have always been interested in web design; as a hobby mainly. Really still at the learning stage; I don't have any websites I am proud to call my own yet, but hopefully soon I can actually start getting a few jobs here and there, and producing some good work.

I am fairly creative with names, brands and that sort of thing, and so have taken an interest in domaining. Looking around the internet about this area and came across Ned's post on the VentraIP forums (I am a VentraIP member).

Great vibrant community you all have going here and I am happy to be a part of it. I hope I can learn well from everyone and contribute in a meaningful way.

Welcome techmo,

I have gone from wearing a winter coat at a roof top beer garden in the city the other day to shorts today.

There are plenty of people learning how to develop their domains here so you're not alone.

Thanks for the welcome FirstPage.

I'm working for a stint in New Zealand at the moment and really appreciate their almost totally predictable climate. If the weather forecast says rain, it'll rain. Usually as simple as that

What time of year did you go?

Right now I'm in the Golden Bay area and the weather is cool and calm. Rained a few nights, but for the most part during the day, cool and sunny.

will stand you in good stead with domains (although don't go overboard with the 'brandables')! Welcome & good luck.

Too much happy baccy Spacey.

Golden Bay is a beautiful spot. I've been to the Abel Tasman National Park.

This link gives some info on the area - but more importantly, isn't this a great Geo template? Given me some ideas.
