Any thoughts on value or strategy?

Although straight forwards in its title , i see rubbish removal more , i tend to think the garbos are the garbage removalists and they are all employed by the councils, would anyone buy this name ? .... perhaps but not for a fortune

I think it's pretty good. RubbishRemobal.com.au would probably be slightly better but it's pretty big business.

A quick search and you would find plenty of possible end users.

In fact I just searched and there are LOTS of people advertising Adwords for the search. These are good people to target as they are already somewhat tech savvy (got a website, using adwords) so are more likely to see the value without a 2 hour 'education'

I'd go through one by one, make contact by email and phone & direct them all to a sales listing & then sit back & wait for some competitive bidding.

Other option is to develop first and then try and sell.....

Thanks for your positive suggestions Netfleet - they are always welcomed!

I also have junkremoval.com.au - any better or worse?

Cheers, Ned

Slightly worse I'd say but having that name nearly doubles the potential results from chasing end-users as you can pitch both names at the same time.

So definitely worth drawing up a target list of 20-40 companies & trying to rustle up some competitive offers.

I think those domain names are pretty good because they're concise and functional.

I would just keep them in my portfolio for the next couple years...just like some people would a bottle of wine.

At $21 a piece it's certainly worth a gamble. All you need to do is sell 1 domain for $2000 and you've covered nearly 100 registered domains.

Good advice Ross - the only trouble is, I always drink my wine that I bought to put away. Just can't help myself!

Good news in that I have now sold garbageremoval.com.au . It was a private sale, and is "commercial in confidence" so I can't divulge price. Needless to say, it wasn't huge, but I'm more than happy!

Thanks for all advice and suggestions.

Cheers, Ned
