Hi SEO consultant....

I would also be curious to see a couple of examples of your domans that are ranking. I'm very into SEO myself although it's not a full time job for me which I gather it is for you, and it's always good to see the type of successes people are having - also of interest if you are selling training on it to see where it has worked.

Me (thought I should put something out there since i'm asking you to) - my best success would be the site http://www.nationalstockyards.com.au which ranks #1 on google.com.au for cattle yards, and fluctuates between #1 and #3 for a whole host of other terms such as stock yards, stock yard designs, small cattle yards, large cattle yards, cattle yard designs, and lots of long tail stuff. Bearing in mind though this is a "real life" manufacturing business not an affiliate site or anything like that, and a very profitable site considering most here would likely not even think of "agriculture" type businesses!

Red face Sure

mmm

Matt, the sites of my clients are real sites, not affiliates.

Last month I managed to put one of my clients in 2 position for the keyword "Trolleys" their job... mmm to sell trolleys. I'm pretty sure we will achieve 1st position soon.

My sites?

Almost 80% of my sites are what I call sniping sites.. so I work for them only 1 keyword... for my clients... well.. any keyword they want to work/pay for.

I only started to work in my own sites (Sites that I can show in a future) SEO wise in December...

so far... 2nd position for SEO Consultant.... 4rd for SEO packages...

Generic sites? Mmm so many
Some to show without risk of showing my market...

I'm 1st for "buy Ferrari" a tiny achievement that will inspire me to one day EXCHANGING the site for a real ferrari ?

It is funny!

Well done on the seo consultant one - just trying to work out who you are at #2, are you www.shimonsandler.com, www.internetninja.com.au or someone else?

I don't rank anywhere at all for that sort of thing, mainly because since I got serious with this i've been too busy with client work to get my own site up - doing things part time as well as a day job only leaves so many hours, especially when you type long forum posts!

I'm the ninja, with no time to work on Ninja SEO things for my own SEO sites (ironic isn't it?) may be is the whole deal of having Ninja Fights with my 4 year old and 7 month old boys...

I hope you join the course... but I guess many of the info there, you already know.. but there are some good videos Matt.

Take care...

Gabriel

Hi Gabriel,

I will have a look at the course - There is a lot of things i'm very confident in my abilities at, but have a lot to learn in other areas, and it's worth checking out anyway.

It's funny, in the real world if I say SEO or Search Engine Optimisation, most people go blank. Explain it's getting sites to the top of google, and they still look at you weird. Say, "and I build websites", they go ahhh - now they have a box to put you in! Which makes it funny to me that it's such a massive field and always more to learn.

You course sounds at least worth a look, that said I will say I must be the only person on the web who hates videos! Video's are the way of the future I know and an awesome marketing tool, but i'm a bit of a skim reader and wannabe speed reader, so I hate that videos don't go at my pace - plus in a room of people they can be distracting. Again - i'm not normal in that way I know!
