It's not quite a simple as that. By having a TM term within a domain does not necessarily mean you are in breach of any regulation. It's all about how the domain is used.

Remember, for a domain to be lost via the auDRP dispute mechanism, the complainant must prove a number of things including:
b. Evidence of Registration or Use in Bad Faith. For the purposes of Paragraph 4(a)(iii), the following circumstances, in particular but without limitation, if found by the Panel to be present, shall be evidence of the registration and use of a domain name in bad faith:

(i) circumstances indicating that you have registered or you have acquired the domain name primarily for the purpose of selling, renting, or otherwise transferring the domain name registration to another person for valuable consideration in excess of your documented out-of-pocket costs directly related to the domain name; or
(ii) you have registered the domain name in order to prevent the owner of a name, trademark or service mark from reflecting that name or mark in a corresponding domain name; or
(iii) you have registered the domain name primarily for the purpose of disrupting the business or activities of another person; or
(iv) by using the domain name, you have intentionally attempted to attract, for commercial gain, Internet users to a web site or other online location, by creating a likelihood of confusion with the complainant's name or mark as to the source, sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of that web site or location or of a product or service on that web site or location.
It usually boils down to the last one - (iv)

As long as there is no attempt made by the domain owner to suggest an endorsement or even ownership by the NRL, then it shouldn't be a problem. A simple site with an archive of all NRL scores for the last 10 years would be a reasonable and fair use of the domain (IMHO). Might be recommended to pop a disclaimer in there for good measure and best stay away from using any NRL logos.

That's just my reading of the situation though...

Not sure with this one to be honest. Once an agreement has been reached, we then exchange the details of both buyer & seller & let them work it out.

Sometimes people adopt the very risky strategy of deleting the domain for the buyer to then hand register to avoid transfer fees..... I don't think that's happened here though.

Two more sales to report

scaffholding.com.au - $70
ausnutechsystems.com.au - $160
