Default Consolidating your domains

So I have most of my domains with Crazy Domains, but I also have some with Netregistry, some with Drop, some with Domain Central, some with Intaserve, and some with Cheap Domains (and possibly some others I'm forgetting about with someone else entirely).

There are obvious reasons to spread your domains over several hosting accounts, but is there any good reason not to have all of your domains with the same registrar?

you may achieve a discount if lots of domains at the same registrar

Jonathan,

Like you I have all of my domains spread but of recent I am switching them all across to Drop.

Crazy Domains where 85% of mine were are horrifically bad at customer service, which took me to complain to auDa before they would take any action.

I have chosen Drop as they have been awesome. Transfers, emails etc etc are all answered very quickly, transfers happen amazingly quick and they are very knowledgeable.

I cannot recommend them high enough. Keep up the good work Drop.com.au

I don't really use em for hosting, but I can totally give 2 thumbs up for Drop re transfers as well - they are cheap and really quick.

I guess one of the big issues for me is price though, because I have a whole bunch of domains, so we are talking about saving potentially hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars depending which registrar I go with.
