Default Cheap domain doubles prices, doesn't change name...?

hehehe

Just a gripe, I have been using cheapdomains for months now.

Went to register another 10 domains on the weekend and they have jumped to $20+ per year.

Not overly happy with that.

Motherf*ckers... bait and switch! Nice of them not to even bother letting their customers know. Thanks for posting this, I have a couple of hundred domains with them which I will start transferring out tonight.

Crazy Domains (pretty sure they're owned by the same guys) are still set at $12/year. Makes me wonder how long this will last though.

Same, I am really worried about being spread across too many registrars and just accidentally forgetting to renew a couple of em.

How about DomainCentral? - Can get discounted rates if you ask kindly.
or Name.com.au ($20/2 years)- can't get much cheaper than that.
I believe both are operated by the same crowd.

I have experienced the worst customer service with DomainCentral, and would not recommend moving your domains to them.

Agreed, I would rather stab out my own eyes with a rusty nail than deal with Domain Central again.

I've personally (so far) had nothing but good things with DC.

Customer Service becomes a big part when you are a "domainer".

For me - you can't get any better than Drop.

Customer Service is EXCEPTIONAL
