Default Call for Nominations for auDA's 2010 Names Policy Panel

Aside from membership, this is a great way to get involved.

Quote:
auDA invites people with an interest in Australian (.au) domain name policy to nominate for the 2010 Names Policy Panel.

The purpose of the 2010 Names Policy Panel is to:

* review the policy framework underlying the allocation and use of
domain names in the .au domain space; and
* provide recommendations to the auDA board about what changes (if
any) should be made to the policy framework.

The Panel is expected to commence work in September 2010.

Completely agree - more people should get involved in this.

Good on you Simon. Also note that auDA will help with expenses if required so if you can give the commitment, don't let possible costs hold you back from nominating.

One thing I'm not sure is if nominated members need to go to Melbourne everytime?

Thanks

Good question - I think many of the activities would be centred around Melbourne but I'm not sure whether all.
