Oops... Edit error... Ouch! I emailed that to a few people too!
It was supposed to go with the religion theme next to Judaism.net.au.

Great list, some of these names listed on NF for sale... Are people just letting them lapse you think or forgetting they even have them?

Hi Timmy,

It's probably a combination of both. Unfortunately a lot of stock listed on domain sales sites is just not current – it’s a major issue for portals such as Sedo, Afternic and Netfleet. It’s frustrating for buyers and can lead to disillusionment with the whole process of trying to acquire a domain in the secondary market.

Let’s face it, there’s very little incentive for domain owners to ensure that their listings remain up to date and that expired or sold domains are deleted from their listings accounts. This was one of the major issues we faced when setting up the Domain Distribution Network (DDN). You can’t offer a networked sales channel unless you can be sure that the inventory is available for sale.

That’s why we require that domains are registered with Fabulous to participate in the DDN, and why we require domains are registered with Drop.com.au to participate in our Secondary Market Auctions – we can be sure that the seller has “clear title” and that the domains listed are actually available to be bought. This approach also has valuable benefit of concluding domain transactions swiftly and efficiently, with the buyer getting the domain in a fraction of the time it takes in a manual transfer.

Naturally we are looking at introducing a similar approach for domain listings in the au market…

Andrew

Oh how I <3 thee Drop!

Thanks for the above response, and also for catching 2 domains I was hunting for today - unfortunately I was being lazy and only bid on drop - luckily for me, you got the suckers!

I quit smoking (2-3 packs a day) to finance my domaining, I think I'm more addicted to catching expired names. Either way, this shouldn't kill me :P
