Hey Guys,
I’m new to this. So please be patient and any help will be appreciated. After listing a couple of my domains earlier, I received a couple of PM’s from prospective buyers. Can someone be kind enough to tell me what is the best way to sell a domain. (e.g: best way to exchange funds and when to transfer the domain and etc) Thanks in advance for your help! - Denis |

Escrow would probably be the safest. Not sure which registrars are doing what, but we transfer names for $120 and we'll hold payment until the name has changed ownership. Call 1300 665 866 and ask for Liz for more info..

Generally if you're the seller, it's not unreasonable to ask for payment upfront.
Food for thought. |

i have asked for two thirds and once payment is cleared i start transfer , no complaints as yet
escrow is well known as a payment option , some say use paypal only for the amount you are willing to lose ?? (chargebacks) although over at namepros if a member has a good trader rating they can be considered a safe , i did a $550 deal with a good rated member and had no problems we have trade rater here , unsure if anyone other than me and james have bothered ? i paid $179 for a transfer and did not have the security domainmarketplace is offering
