I think they are great value, might get one to put on the coffee table, would be perfect for accessing the tv guide, imdb for any movies im going to play, or just to check anything else. The loading speed would be brilliantly fast, everything you need and for under $800, bargain in my opinion.

But why havent they included normal computer programs? ie MS WORD etc or at least the MAC version. Possibly App opportunity for MS?

I'll be buying them for my 'on the road' sales team... The mac books ooze professionalism and really made a difference. Just hoping the battery life is over 8 hours like the lappies...

How often will you use the ipad? Once a month? ROFL -

Might finally see an ad about pads at dinner time that doesn't make me want to vom.
