oh i didn't know there was a joining fee, i am wondering if the names listed are registered with domain8 or do they come from all aussie registrars ?

Do you have any info on the PD listed ones.

I'm assuming if it was a policy delete you'd be at risk of losing it for the same reason.

Domains are policy deleted for many reasons, and one common example is when a company that is listed as the Registrant (Legal Entity/Owner) ceases trading.

In the case where the legal entity no longer exists and therefore cannot hold the domain license, I would suggest that the likelihood of losing the domain is low.

Caveat: Unless there are other issues surrounding the domain or more importantly you do something stupid with the domain. Stupid actions include things like post if for sale within the first 6-months or place unrelated advertising links on the parked domain.
