Hi Everyone,
Picked up whitsundays.info on a drop this morning for $60US 18000 exact searches a month on Google, also picked up cairnstours.net the other week for $60US.
Don't normally go for anything other than .com in overseas extentions, but would not expect the .com or com.au to ever become available in these name. Anyone have much luck developing these extentions in Australia?

I have an unfinished neglected keyword.info at 3 in google.com.au with a single inbound PR2 link. It's not a very competitive keyword though (only 720 exacts).

Only suggestion is to nominate Australia for the domain in Google Webmaster Tools.

i have owned 100's of .infos over last 5 years
all can be developed nicely and make money

I have several tourism travel .infos currently
including stradbroke.info that get nice traffic

just don't expect type in traffic

one thing to keep in mind when developing a name is that end users of the site care very little about the domain name extension. Keep us posted.
