Default Aftermarket Auction Ending 16th November

Well last week was a really strong auction with about $6K worth of domains changing hands.

Highlights were

Fascinators.com.au - $2,008
ComparisonRates.com.au - $1,100
Eucalyptus.com.au - $890

Anyway onto next weeks offering....

DebtCollectionAustralia.com.au. Great domain in an extremely lucrative area. Listed with no reserve, this domain will sell. Current bid just $100

AdultLingerie.com.au Obvious development potential for this domain. Many people feel embarrassed buying products like these face to face so there's always been a string demand for online sales in this market.

Bali-Hotels.com.au Depending what side of the hyphen argument you sit on this is a ripper. EXACT local searches are a whopping 5,400. Easy to monetise and the visitor's goal is obvious so targeting is a breeze.

WheelChairLifts.com.au - Guess what the CPC is? $14! Not suprising when you see the competition in Google Adwords. Make no mistake this is a huge and very lucrative industry. Obvious development AND resale options.

Whales.net.au - Big searches for this one - 3,600 EXACT locals. Develop or sell to the booming whale watching industry.

LoungeSuites.com.au - Maybe this is the pick of this week's auctions? It's an expensive mass market product with strong search volume (1,900 EXACTS). My advice would be to develop, dominate Google, enjoy the income then sell to one of the multi-million dollar furniture companies.

ArmChairs.com.au - see above Package deal I reckon!

TouchTyping.com.au - believe it or not a huge 2,400 EXACT local searches! Google results are dominated by o/s companies so would be a cinch to get this domain number 1 in Australia. then sell typing software & set and forget

Barbeques.com.au - Barbeques are big business in Australia so this category killer will benefit from the competition. End-users cramming into Google Adwords keen to give you their advertising dollar or buy the name from you. 12,000 PHRASE searches in Australia!

CoolNames.com.au - 1,000 local EXACTS and such a brandable option for perhaps a domain name related business. Search + Brandable = $$$

Sue.com.au - How many people do you know called Sue? There's millions of them! Every one of them would have an interest in such a domain. Great for vanity email, birthday present. Massive opportunity.

SexyToys.com.au - everybody knows SexToys.com.au sold for $25,500. What does that make this one worth? Yes it has search AND a CPC of nearly $3

Seminyak.com.au - 50,000 PHRASE and 1,000 Exact searches. This is a huge opportunity to optimise a site around the somain for Seminyak Hotels, Seminyak Accommodation etc etc. Does buying this domain and developing a website make your trip there tax deductible ?

OK gotta go but the closer I look for more quality I see in this week's offering. Many more domains worth a mention so I'll add to this later. Please comment in the meantime!

I reviewed a lot of the domains yesterday and I think 20 - 30 of them have a good chance of getting bids. That would be the most of any of the NF AMA so far.

So IMHO this is the highest quality AMA we've had yet.

Yeah I agree. At first I thought last weeks' was stronger but as you look closer at these ones, you see that nearly all have some strong attributes somewhere....

But do save some money for next week's.... we should easily have an all-time record

As promised, I'll continue this week's review of the available domains...

Just before I get onto those I haven't covered, I wanted to mention that Barbecuing.com.au sold for $800 2 years ago.

Barbecues.com.au is clearly better than barbecuing.com.au from a developers POV. In Australia, the alternate spelling barbeques is used more than 10x as much as Barbecues making Barbeques.com.au (which is the one up for auction) many times superior again. Just a note

QN.com.au - obviously it's a rare 2-letter domain. N is universally recognised as a 'premium' letter when in comes to acronym domains. However in Australia, it's important to remember that Q is also one of the best letters you can get. Q for Queensland of course

PornDVDs.com.au and XXXDVDs.com.au - these are obviously great domains in their niche and have an obvious monetisation path and strong search volume. Again profit from people's *discretion* in adult products.

Toe.com.au and Zit.com.au - Rare 3-letter domains in that that also spell well-used English words! Unforgettable domain. Comparable 3-letter sales (all @ Drop) Tie.com.au $1,300, Max.com.au $1,300, USB.com.au - $1,500, ACN.net.au - $1,800

DEO.com.au - see above!

RoofRepairs.com.au - These domains are perfect for reselling. There are heaps of Adwords advertisers and this is the category killer for this little niche. Flip it (using the method outlined in my fascinators post) or develop, dominate and then sell for even greater return. String search volume and $2.20 CPC

WeightLossClinic.com.au - Weight loss products and service is an ever increasing industry and people pay big bucks for solutions. Easy to resell to one of the dozens of companies who compete for this term both organically and through Adwords.

Pyrotechnics.com.au - Yet another category killer!! (strong week, hey?). Have a look and there are dozens of companies doing precisely this. Pitch it right and encourage one of these to literally 'own' the industry on the internet.

Ok that's as far as I'm going. I could go on as there are heaps more quality domains but I have to draw the line somewhere. Check them out for yourself!

Hurry, hurry, hurry. Only a few hours to go.

Something for everyone in this never-to-be-repeated bunch of domains. Flippers, holders, developers and parkers will all find something to suit. We have search volume, we have CPC, we have category-killers and it's all gonna be liquidated at 3pm this afternoon.

Remember once this stock is gone, it's gooone! These domains are literally walking out the door...

PS Google 'qn' and you'll find a couple of likely end-users to flip to

Were WeightLossClinic.com.au, Bali-Hotels.com.au, PornDVDs.com.au and XXXDVDs.com.au withdrawn? They don't appear to be in the auction list anymore.

Hmm, surprised you asked actually Andew. The owner told us that you brought it to their attention that these domains were under the 6 month sales threshold and run the risk of auDA penalising. The owner then contacted us realising their mistake and we suggested that they should withdraw the domains.

A bit of an inconvenience for us both, but we advised our client not to sell.

Yes, I was quite surprised that there was no announcement from Netfleet and wanted to give you the opportunity - particularly as these were domains that had been promoted in this thread.

What do you mean? You asked a question you knew the answer to to give us an opportunity to make an announcement that one of our clients had informed us that you told him that his domains were less than 6 months registered???

Sorry mate I'm confused...

Okay to clarify David -There was no announcement about the auction line up changing as it appears that a number of lots were withdrawn (some of which were promoted in this very thread). I was surprised that you didn't make one.

End of.
