Default Acceptable amount of ads?

Hi all, just wondering if any of the seasoned pros can tell me whether the number and placement of adsense ads on lucky dip design dot com is acceptable?

Don't want to breach any policies

Thanks!

*Edit* Specifically the category pages (i.e. 'illustrations', 'caricatures' and 'logo design') where ads are in sidebar, after post title and after post.

There is nothing wrong with that amount of ads. Google actually allows up to 3 text/image ad units, 2 link units and 2 search boxes on one page.

No problem!

Probably should have linked to a source:

Are you running a service here? If so would be rethinking putting Google ads on it.

Thanks aus11

Hi Snoopy, it may not seem like it at the moment but there is a plan... even if it is only half baked!

It has been a well known fact if you have too many ads it can impact your SEO, I have noticed this on a few sites and have changed layouts..

Example from Google - http://googlewebmastercentral.blogsp...provement.html

Thanks for the link James. Just the other day I removed the ads until I get more decent content up there.
