I think both registrars and resellers ( if they have the cheapest pricing or there will be thousands maybe) should be on that list. I cant see why accredited makes any difference. If you are a reseller you still get it from a registar who must be accredited and the registrants rights and ownership are still protected anyway so nothing to lose by using you is there.. but some dollars to save? I think all names have to come from auda.. ausregistry.. then a register or reseller anyway.. theres no way you can get a name that doesnt go through the proper process or it cant get registered?

good to see prices going down, surprised some still charing like 99 for regs...and ripping people off...

Are they profitable at that level or are they cross subsidising this price with other products?



If so - that's dangerous information a domainers forums where many people probably don't require (or won't invest in) the other products but manage large portfolios of domains.

I had the same problem. And WHOIS is blacklislisted.

Who are you reselling for? The auDA reseller tool isn't listing a registrar next to your name..

Turns out the Whois server in WHMCS is incorrect. After speaking with AusRegistry, a different server must be used over a different port. I'll have to contact WHMCS to fix te issue as their system for registering domains is encrypted.
